First bike was delivered really quickly and was easy to assemble and charge.
everything worked well and the pedal assist works really well the only thing missing in the supplied spec was a rear light but a quick trip to Halfords fixed that. Overall a really good way to get into electric biking.
Sadly the first white bike had some damage as a result of the box being punctured at some point. The plastic chain guard was cracked and I am still waiting for a promised replacement!!
The second bike we ordered was perfect (black)
with no damage internally or externally to the box. Riding the bikes was a revelation no more struggling up hills and the ability to cruise the country roads in comfort.
The brakes are good and the gear change is excellent. for the taller rider it is essential to get the handle bar and seat set to the highest position. Charging time is related to the length of ride but it has not taken longer than four hours for the longest ride we have done so far at around twenty miles. Being able to fold the bike enables it to fit in the boot of my car and to fit inside the storage compartment in the motorhome a great additional security advantage. The battery being hidden in the frame is good as others do not realise it is an electric bike until you pass them on the hills!!
Overall very pleased with the bike but the customer service could be better re replacement of delivery damage in one instance.
